OUR ACTORS
eXpect Theatre works with the brightest young talent in the country. All of our professional actors are recent university and college graduates. They have been there and… done that! See who they are, and what their college and university life was really like.

Aviva Armour-Ostroff
photo Aviva appeared in the role of Michelle for several years in SURVIVAL U. She has also played several principal roles in Canadian Stage productions at the St. Lawrence Centre for The Arts. She has numerous other credits to her career including theatre, film and television.

Hugh Barnett
Hugh has played the roles of Dan, Jamie and Leo in over 300 performances with eXpect Theatre. His other work includes two years at the Mouse Trap, as well as numerous other theatre productions. Hugh was trained at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.

Jane Haddad
Jane has performed in SURVIVAL U and HIGH LIFE for eXpect throughout Ontario and New York State. She can currently be seen in several Trailer Vision Productions, and will appear in an up-coming production at System Sound Bar.

Melissa Hallard
Melissa has appeared in numerous eXpect productions for over two years. She is also an accomplished writer and director. Her credits include appearing in Dangerous Liaisons and several Fringe productions.

Sara Moyle
Sara has worked as a performer for eXpect for several years, touring across Ontario and the North-eastern US. She is best known for Shakespearian work, having toured the classics across much of Ontario for several years.

Rahnuma Panthaky
Rahnuma has seen both sides of eXpect Theatre, working as an actor for eXpect for several years, and later taking the role of Administrator. She has toured with eXpect across much of Canada and preformed in nearly a hundred performances of SURVIVAL U. She was a former Degrassi kid, but currently can be seen in the Vagina Monologues as the permanent understudy.
